Suzanne Moreau, Owner/Director and Instructor |
Suzanne was born and raised in Orange, Texas to Charles and Joette Webb in
1962. Her mother knew during her pregnancy that she may be a dancer because
of how active she was. She decided to prove her theory by enrolling Suzanne
in dance at the ripe age of three. It was then that her gifts and talents for
the art of dance became evident.
She continues her dance training through out
elementary, Jr. High and High School under the instruction of Mary Alice
Callihan. Suzanne also had the privilege of studying under guest artist from
Jeoffrey Ballet and American Ballet Theater. During her High School year, she
had invitations to participate in summer dance programs under the direction of
Nikita Talin at Southern Methodist University. Suzanne was a Company member
of Beaumont Civic Ballet under the Direction of Marsha Woody Zummo. Other
involvement during her High School years included Jeff Jazz Ballet
Company, Cheerleading and community productions.
After graduating from West Orange-Stark in 1980, corrective back surgery for
scoliosis was deemed mandatory. During a nine month recovery while wearing a
solid plaster body cast, Suzanne met her Prince Charming. On August 7, 1982
she married Chuck Moreau. Suzanne was a dance instructor for Gerami School of
Dance in Lafayette, Louisiana and Mauriceville School of Dance.
Suzanne and Chuck moved to Bryan-College Station in 1984. Continuing her
training under the instruction of Ana Ludmila Gee during the years of
1987-89 and working part time as a dental assistant. It wasn't until her
relationship with the Lord grew that He blessed her with her studio in 1992.
He knew at that time she was ready to give Him the Glory for her talent and
gifts. Since that time she has continued to be challenged with the growth of
her studio, the addition of Company AbunDance a Christian performing company,
and raising three sons.
Suzanne shares that the rewards and blessings from each student and instructor
and the loving support of her husband and family have truly blessed her life.
Her desire is that her focus and passion remains on pleasing and glorifying
her Lord Jesus.
