In a world of various dance genres and performers, there is a community of dancers that desire to express a pure and honest look at the God who created dance for His Name and His Glory. We are only a part of this large community of people that are excited to see God move through the arts in the coming years.

    Company AbunDance is a Christian performing group within Suzanne's School of Dance. Company AbunDance, "A Ministry in Motion," has become not only a performance group, but a ministry through uniquely created dances that are based from scriptures and life experiences. Within the Company rehearsals, our teachers and choreographers spend time listening, praying and teaching biblical principles to the members. This allows the ministry to be two-fold; building up the members in faith and love, and extending God's grace through performances.

    Company AbunDance originated in 1999 as "pre-professionals" and later evolved into what is now known as Company AbunDance. Since then, the members have traveled to many conventions, including Dance Revolution and Dance Ad Deum. The company has also traveled three times to New York as a part of Project Dance, an outreach through the arts in the midst of Time Square. The 13-18.

    Apprentice AbunDance originated in 2004 as a training ground for young dancers between the ages of 9-13. While continuing with regular technical training, this group of dancers also has the opportunity to see first hand into the dance as a "Ministry in Motion." Within the Apprentice rehearsals, our teachers and choreographers spend time listening, praying and teaching biblical principles to the members. This is done In preparation for growing not only as a dancer, but as a follower of Christ. Much like Company AbunDance, the ministry is two-fold; building up the members in faith and love, and extending God's grace through performances.

    Not only do our instructors have the opportunity to be! a part of the Apprentice AbunDance members' training, but the current Company AbunDance members serve as examples, leaders, and instructors throughout the year. These relationships allow the members to receive encouragement from dancers just a few years ahead of them giving them added confidence and excitement to grow. The dictionary defines an apprentice as: "a learner of an art or trade," and as an Apprentice member, God teaches them not only the art of dance, but the "art" of worshipping God through dance. This group travels to various conventions and competitions, as well as performing in many community events.
