Classical Ballet
|
|
|
Level: All levels from beginner to advanced.
|
|
Ballet is the foundation of all dancing and is included in all of the
combination classes starting from Tiny Tots all the way to Advanced
Combo. Many different classes are available, including pointe work
and multiple weekly classes. All Ballet classes are classically based
and we offer a large selection of different classes, teachers and
levels. Classes start at the 'barre', which supports the
balance of the body while completing various combinations designed to
increase strength, mobility and 'turn out' (a rotation of the entire
leg outwards from the hip joint giving the distinctive 'classical
line' associated with ballet and enabling the body to balance more
efficiently). The discipline required for ballet develops a
heightened sense of grace, poise, and technique needed to excel in
other areas of dance.
